Lodge Buchan St John Number 636

On behalf of the Past Masters, Office Bearers and members of Lodge Buchan St. John, No. 636, allow me to welcome you to our website. I hope that in the year you’ll find this website a useful and informative resource throughout the year, helping to guide your way through the mysteries of Ancient Freemasonry.

It is with a great deal off pleasure and humility and also pride That I have been elected Right Worshipful Master of the lodge, And I would like to thank the members of Buchan St John for affording me the tremendous honour and privilege of taking the chair in my mother lodge. For the second time the first being 1986/87 Which I enjoyed tremendously I should have been in the chair again in 2008/09 but as most off you know Ann took ill and passed away

I remember all the great socials and dances we used to have And hope with the help off the members we can bring some of those days back I will in the next 12 months represent our lodge throughout the Province of Linlithgowshire and further afield in the most dignified manner, renewing and strengthening the bonds of friendship and brotherhood which bind us all together in Masonry Universal, and perhaps even to cement the bonds of some new friendships along the way. I know that we have a good selection off office bearers and with their help will further the lodge throughout the province

Lastly I would pay tribute to the IPM Bob stalker for all he has done during his term as RWM

Our syllabus is always available on the website to help you plan your visit. In particular, I would cordially invite all craft visitors to attend our Remembrance Service at our regular meeting on the 6TH November. Lodge Buchan St John is the only lodge in the province to continue the practice of a Remembrance Service to honour our fallen brethren, and it never fails to serve as a moving reminder of the debt we all owe to those who sacrificed everything for our today.
